Where does Serviio get playlists?

My media players are showing music playlists, but they are not my current playlists. Can someone tell me where Serviio gets its music playlists so I can try and fix this? Any updates that I have done so far seem to be getting ignored. I'm using 1.0.1.

it looks for files with supported playlist extensions (see features page) in your shared folders.

Thanks. By "shared folders", do you mean the ones listed on the Serviio library tab? Do the playlist files need to be in a particular folder name?

I got this working. I created a folder called "Playlists" in my already shared music library. Then, I went into ITunes, right clicked each playlist that I wanted, and exported them as ".m3u"
into this "Playlists" folder. After a while, Serviio saw these and they all work. I'm running Windows 8, so I then went into the "Music" metro app, and did an "import" under playlists, and it found them as well. So now all the playlists in ITunes are also in Serviio and the Music app. Of course, I have to remember to update them when needed.
