Audio files remotely through Media Browser

Hi all,

New Serviio user here. I've only scratched the surface so far but I'm really excited at what I've found it can do already. Thanks all for helping to develop such a fantastic product.

I wonder if any of you experienced my problem while listening to audio files remotely using Media Browser. 95% of the time when a file finishes it does not automatically continue to the next file in sequence (whether in the folder on my computer or in the playlist in Media Browser). I have to close the file and click the next one to play it. I've noticed that often the file 'gets stuck' & stops playing before it's full duration e.g. 3:29 / 3:31 where there maybe a couple of seconds of silence after the song ends. Could this be anything to do with it? Most of my audio files are in .wma format.

Best Rgds,
Graham

Sorry to bump this but I'm running out of time in the evaluation period. Keen to purchase the PRO version if this can be resolved. Any help would be appreciated.

Graham

Did you try it in another browser, do you have the latest Flash?

Still instances where it does not continue onto next track but seems much better in Chrome - thank you. Just out of interest, do you know what prevents it from continuing (particularly in Internet Explorer)?

On another note - should I upgrade to Serviio 1.2 or stay using 1.1 if it meets my needs? If upgrade, does it matter if I do this before or after I purchase the PRO license?

Best Rgds,
Graham

You don't have to upgrade, but it's not supported anymore. You can upgrade anytime you want (before/after)
