Serviio running, but can't access Console

I recently upgraded to 1.2, and I can see Serviio on my devices. However, the Console is no longer showing in my Task Bar. I cannot start it or even see the console. I tried reinstalling 1.2, but it didn't make a difference. It was working fine, then just disappeared. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Are you to turn on detailed logging, and post the section of the log where you are attempting to start the console please?

Hopefully I did this correctly.

I can see that detailed logging is enabled. Can you try opening the console and then look in the file for an entry relating to the console please?

I've tried starting the Console several times, and it does not show in the log. I see the times that match when I started it, but there's no mention of the Console at all. Not sure why this happened.

Did you try uninstalling java and installing it again?

I have been having problems with java and Firefox crashing lately. I have downgraded to 10.3 which seems to fix my Firefox problem. I did this yesterday, but prior to this, I have been upgrading java with the updates they've been sending along. It seemed like it's been every other day lately, but none seem to play well with firefox, thus I downgraded to 10.3. Think all this is what's causing my problems?

For some reason Java updates not always work well.. you may end up with a broken installation. Also the GUI elements seems to be quite sensitive to different Java versions. So it might be it.

I uninstalled java 10.3, and reinstalled, which installed the latest version again. I made sure the install was in IE. I rebooted, and the Serviio service started, but again, no Serviio Console. Normally the console started up when my system reboots, no longer. I tried to manually start it, and it doesn't start, and the log has no mention of the console, no error in starting, nothing. Any thoughts on what I should do next. Would uninstalling and reinstalling Serviio do anything? Can I do this without losing my library and having to rescan the drive again? Thanks.

Does it start when you execute it via serviio-console.bat from the bin directory?

I'll try zip. This morning, when I "woke" my computer up, Serviio was not visible on my WDTV Plus. I had to use Serviiodroid to Stop and Start the server before it was visible. Serviio has worked pretty well for me for quite a while. Maybe just a coincidence, but since 1.2 I've experience some things that have never happened before. Thanks for the help here everyone!
