Since 1.2.1 I cannot add some video files to folders

Hi,

I have some video files *.wmv and *.mp4 which when I add to a folder and 'refresh' cannot be seen on my dlna clients. The folders can be seen but these files cannot, I tried adding them to existing folders but I have the same problem. When i check the log after hitting a refresh I see the same message repeated exactly the same amount of times as there are files being added:
2013-03-26 13:04:44,512 WARN [LibraryManager] Skipping processing metadata for an unsupported file. Message: Unknown video codec.

If I go back to 1.1 they add fine with no log errors, just the usual message about adding a file, and play with out issue (I use no transcoding and have the box ticked).
If I upgrade to back to 1.2.1 the files are still OK unless I remove and re-add them, then the error appears in the log and they are not seen in the folders by the clients.
The onlÿ common thing I can find with these files is that when I view them with vlc and view the codec information it descibes both the wmv and these mp4 files as "MPEG-4 Video (mp4v)

I would be grateful for any help with this problem.

Thanks for reading.

Re: Since 1.2.1 I cannot add some video files to folders

Fixed, thanks. It's due to the 'Video:' string in title metadata field. If you remove that (there must be some tool to do that without reencoding), the file should be added. Fix coming in a next release.

Re: Since 1.2.1 I cannot add some video files to folders

Hi,

Thanks for the quick reply, can you just humour me for a moment.\
Maybe I am looking at this wrong as I am nearly 50 :(
When I look at the output from both ffmpeg versions the line that says:
"title : Video: Live While We're Young"
is the same in both?
Are you referring to a different part of the ouput?
Apologies if I have missed the point of your reply..........

Re: Since 1.2.1 I cannot add some video files to folders

There has been some change in the code around parsing FFmpeg output and this has been introduced as a bug.
