Troubles with remote access in 1.2

First, thank you for an incredible program that let's me share my media on our two Sony Media Streaming units and Galaxy S2 phones (using Serviigo)!
I would love to upgrade to Pro, BUT I can not get the remote function working on my phones after several tries. I have created a dynamic IP at the recommended site, open ports, created passwords and followed everything as stated on the MediaBrowser guides. I consider myself better than average at troubleshooting tech problems... but I am obviously missing something that is probably a simple step?!
Any help is appreciated!

Do you mean the internet access to your media from MediaBrowser / ServiiGo ?
Do you have green light when you click on the check connectivity button on Remote tab?

Yes, I can not access MediaBrowser using Serviigo on my Android phones. I still have not been able to get a green light no matter what I try.

Did you enable the automatic port forwarding in the console? It might not work with your router (see
detailed log for error message and if that's he case, post it here).
You can also open port 23424 on your router and forward it manually, as per the web instructions.
Can you open this URL from your phone via 3G?
- Code:
http://<your public ip or dns name>:23424/cds/application

Yes, I have tried the automatic box to no avail. I also have manually forwarded the port and set up a dynamic DNS. Should I try another DNS service other than the one recommended in the MediaBrowser setup instructions?

can you open it inside your network? if you put your phone on wifi and use the ip of your serviio box... does it work?
You also might want to try clearing your port forwards and making sure upnp is enabled on your router. The automatic option should be able to use upnp to open the ports it needs.

Yes, with in my network no problems at all and VERY happy with Serviio and ServiiGo!
I will try to clear ports and yes, UpnP is enabled.

try to go to
http://www.whatismyip.com/ and use your external IP address to access it, instead of the DNS domain name. If it still doesn't work, try to check if the port is open using
http://canyouseeme.org/ (enter port 23424)
Could you also enable detailed logging, go to the console, select Automatic port forwarding (if you already have it checked, uncheck it, Svae , check it again and Save again). Then post the log here.

I'd be more than happy to do those things... but my 15 day trial ran out last night. Is there another way to "try" it again?

Install it on another machine if you have one.

I actually am in process of replacing my desktop and ordered a new desktop last night from Amazon. Will install it again when it gets here and post back with results!
