I have been using Serviio Pro 1.9 for some time and missed the folder option.
I have first upgraded to Serviio Pro V1.10.1 and run into several problems.
Most annoying is the server dies rather quickly.
I have then uninstalled Serviio 1.10.1 and reinstalled it.
The problem persists.
Before reinstalling again, It took more than a day to save an image folder with a lot of subfolders containing in total 1,000,000+ images.
After re-installing, the whole configuration was saved in seconds.
After having restarted the server it was busy with scanning the image folder, checking if the file already existed in the database.
In this case it suddenly dies during scanning after a few subfolders.
The scanning process for images looks slow to me, 0.3 seconds it takes to verify if the picture exists in the database.
I would like to use the V1.10.1 because of the new features.

Attached is the log file

With kind regards

Problem Solved.
After uninstalling, removing of the c:\Program files\Serviio folder and installing again, the server stays alive, unless you change the order of the shared folders. After the save, the server crashes and has to be restarted.

it looks like you're running out of memory for Serviio. Change the value of Xmx in ServiioService.vmoptions file and restart the service / PC.
