Connecting to TV on wireless, but not wired connection.

Serviio working a treat when my new Samsung smart tv is connected to internet wirelessly.
But as soon as I switch Samsung to same network (but wired), Serviio can no longer be seen!

Re: Connecting to TV on wireless, but not wired connection.

Well, that's a network issue for certain. It almost sounds like your wired connection isn't using the same network as the wireless side. The first thing to check is if both devices (TV and Serviio computer) are on the same network IP address range. Look at the network settings for both devices, and you should find the IP address assigned to each device. It's a group of 4 numbers separated by a period. It most likely looks like 192.168.0.x, with the x being a different number on each device. If the first three segments are not the same (say one has 192.168.0.x and the other has 192.168.1.x), then there's something strange going ono with your network. The DLNA protocol only works on the same network, unless you have some very technical routing in place, which isn't likely in a home setting.
