Use of RPi hardware encoder h264_v4l2m2m

is there a way to use Raspberry Pi 4 hardware encoder h264_v4l2m2m? I found support for encoders h264_qsv and h264_nvenc, but not for h264_v4l2m2m.

Thank you.

I don't think the Serviio developer has included support for that. It's a pretty small use case, and I have no idea how much work might be involved to support it. If it's not too much to add it, he might be able to get it in a future build.

The best place to make such requests is in the Serviio Bitbucket site:

LG NANO85 4K TV, Samsung JU7100 4K TV, Sony BDP-S3500, Sharp 4K Roku TV, Insignia Roku TV, Roku Ultra, Premiere and Stick, Nvidia Shield, Yamaha RX-V583 AVR.
Primary server: Intel i5-6400, 16 gig ram, Windows 10 Pro, 22 TB hard drive space | Test server Windows 10 Pro, AMD Phenom II X4 965, 8 gig ram
