HI All ,

I am a currently user of PS3 Media Server and I figure out that are some cool features at serviio that motivates me to change my in house DLNA service . But I can not make work the embebed subtitles what is essencial at Philips TV .
I am using a Serviio Server with a CENTOS6 Linux server with no X console configured . I would like to use serviiodroid for management , but I could not find the subtitle options to configure on it.
For testing proposal I insalled a Windows version o serviio server and when I connected to it I was able to access the subtitle menu on serviidroid .
Anyone know how to enable the subtitle menu on ServiiDroid for a Linux based Serviio Server ?

Best Regards,

Saulo Silva

It should be there under ServiiDroid, are you sure you are using 1.3.1 (or at least 1.2) on your linux machine, listed on the status tab. ServiiDroid won't show options for servers that are too old to have them.

As a side, make sure you've built a recent version of ffmpeg including the various subtitle libs listed on the download page. You can confirm using ffmpeg -i from the server, checking Serviio's log.

And you can also install the Windows console on your PC and point it to your server, as per the FAQ, but the version of the console must match the server.
