conditional transcoding

Hi all,

can anybody tell if there's a way to prevent, that serviio is transcoding certain formats for specific clients? When enabling transcoding it seems like serviio is transcoding really everythin in my environment, even if the clip is coded in a format the client understands natively. I want serviio to transcode only the formats the client has a problem with. Is this possible or would this be a feature request?

That's how it works, each profile has a definition of what to transcode / remux / deliver natively. So either edit your profile or chose another one.

Wow, that was fast! Thanks zip, you really do a great job! I am amazed more and more about serviio every day I use it and recommend it whenever I can.

I found the "Editing renderer profiles" quick guide on the homepage. I will try to get by with that. Thanks a lot again!

Normally the provided profiles should be more or less functional and only transcode stuff that really has to be.
