Cam recorder movies files .MOV

Hi!

I want serviio transdecode these movie files in order to my TV was able to play them.

I'm a Mac user and ffmepgX doesn't give me any information ... VLC information about these files are:

- Movie: H.264 MPG-4 AVC (part 10)
- Audio: PCM S16 LE (sowt)

Cam Recorder: Nikkon D-3100

Other no displayable files:

.MOV: Codec m2v1, Linear
Cam Recorder: Panasonic

Thanks

Provide details of the file: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1123
Use FFmpeg distributed with Serviio

Re: Cam recorder movies files .MOV

The first file should be transcoded with the C series profile. Can you enable detailed logging, try playing the file and check the ffmpeg command that was used? Try running that command manually and post the result.

For the second file, you can try adding this line to the first Video transcoding config in the Samsung C profile in profiles.xml:

<Matches container="mpeg" vCodec="mpeg2video" aCodec="pcm_s16le" />

It should transcode it into mpegts with ac3. If that doesn't work, post the same result as in the case above.

Re: Cam recorder movies files .MOV

Ok .. perfect ... The first video format is now playable by my TV. I have problems because it's a HD movie and each 10 seconds stops play in order to buffer new content. It's neccesary a wifi-n router to play HD videos?

But the second not ..

Re: Cam recorder movies files .MOV

I've included this line
<Matches container="mpeg" vCodec="mpeg2video" aCodec="lpcm" />
because aCodec value you sent me not is valid for XML.

You're on 0.5.1 beta, so yes. I made a mistake, you have mp4 file, so it should look like:

  Code:
 <Matches container="mpeg4" vCodec="mpeg2video" aCodec="lpcm" />

Are you going to include these lines at profile.xml file in 0.5.1 version?
