Transcoding doesn´t starts

In a notebook when I see a video in my Android device the ffmpeg process starts and doesn´t end until finish transcoding whole video. But in the other computer, a desktop one, I play the same video (duplicated in both servers) but the movie is sent without transcoding. No ffmpeg in task manager and when i pause or stop the video in Android the video inmidiatly stops sending from the PC.
Why ffmpeg isnt use in the PC? Is it normal?
Notes:
Notebook: over WiFi (11to 12Mb/s upload speed)
PC: over Ethernet (11 to 25 Mb/s speed)
Both: Using Generic profile.

I don´t know why but now when I tried again in notebook it doesnt start ffmpeg like the PC. So Serviio is confusing me a little. Maybe because of like in wiki says that generic profile dont use ffmpeg?
