sound problem on BD570

Hi,

Running serviio 0.5.1 on XP, LG BD570 as client device

I have a sound problem with some MPG files, I analysed them with ffmpeg and found:

This file A runs OK:
Stream #0.0[0x1e0]: Video: mpeg2video, yuv420p, 720x576 [PAR 64:45 DAR 16:9], 15000 kb/s, 26.01 fps, 25 tbr, 90k tbn, 50 tbc
Stream #0.1[0x1c0]: Audio: mp2, 48000 Hz, 2 channels, s16, 192 kb/s

This file B looks OK but has terrible sound:
Stream #0.0[0x1c0]: Audio: mp2, 48000 Hz, 2 channels, s16, 256 kb/s
Stream #0.1[0x1e0]: Video: mpeg2video, yuv420p, 720x576 [PAR 64:45 DAR 16:9], 10000 kb/s, 25 fps, 25 tbr, 90k tbn, 50 tbc

Both files were recorded as WTV with Media Center(file A was SD, file B was HD), and then converted to MPG by MC-TVConverter

I updated the profile like this:

<Profile id="8" name="LG BD player" extendsProfileId="1">
<SubtitlesMimeType>text/srt</SubtitlesMimeType>
<Transcoding>
<Video targetContainer="mpegts" targetVCodec="mpeg2video" targetACodec="mp2" aBitrate="192">
<Matches container="matroska" />
<Matches container="wtv" />
<Matches container="mpeg" />
<Matches container="mpegts" />
</Video>
</Transcoding>
</Profile>

But it does not solve the sound problem, and this also transcodes the files that are OK. WTV files do not play at all, I get a "unsupported video" message. So I am not sure files are being transcoded. I cann not find anything in the log.

I hope someone can help.

Thanks.

Please use the search box before posting as this has been asked before about this file type and device combo.

The post you are referring to is about WTV on an LG TV, I asked about MPG's on an LG BD. Please read the question before replying.

Yer that would be cause they use the same DLNA interface and have the SAME LG bug.. now trying being more polite next time.

OK, sorry. Just read that post again top to bottom, and still don' see how this wtv frameratebug applies to my mpg sound problem. The video is fine. But if you say so, OK. So it is impossible to transcode anything to a LG BD player?
