Stream PC desktop on demand

Hello, I have set successfully desktop broadcast stream through DLNA with Serviio and VLC. But problem is when VLC broadcast desktop, even if I don´t watch on TV and It take inconsiderable part of PC performance. Is there any possibility to stream wit VLC only on demand? THX

To generate the stream, you execute a .bat file which starts VLC to capture the Screen and output the stream. Serviio then transcodes using ffmpeg and sends the stream to the tv.
When you finish watching the PC on the TV, just close VLC on your PC and this will also stop ffmpeg.
