Serviio

Ok guys im little bit newbie for serviio.I started using serviio because my sony tv cant play x265 codec. its been month using serviio its great im having no problem with playing any of media files.
but here is my little confusion. well i play x265 videos which i download from here

i like HEVC because they come in small size yet gives great audio and video.
but question is it what serviio do to this files when it play it on my tv.
Do playing x265 files being transcoded from serviio gives better video quality or stock x264 will be great if i watch it by connecting usb drive.
so please help me can i let myself using x265 or start using old x264 instead.
im using serviio 1.5.2 pro on ubuntu 15.10 {32-bit} (Intel® Core™ i3 CPU 540 @ 3.07GHz × 4 )

According to the profile, all x265 and any higher level (> 4.2) x264 will transcode to mpeg2video via Serviio, whereas normal x264 videos will play natively through Serviio or via USB. If you believe transcoding will always reduce quality, or if you may want to also be able to play via a USB then stick with x264. If you really want to save space, compare the 2 and if you don't see a difference use the x265's.

seriously when i compared both i didn't noticed any difference but still is there any way i can force all transcoding to high possible video quality? by making change in profile ? i cant connect my pc to tv because both are in different room so for watching those HEVC i installed serviio i really like it because now i dont have to copy files everytime to usb any play it on tv. i likes to download x265 because it saves so much memory yet it gives better quality but since you told me it downgrade quality.
so any tweak or solution to get best video quality from transcoding ?

Tick the quality box in the console delivery tab.

i have already ticked produce best video quality box. but that’s it ? cant i force it for MPEG4 it is better then MPEG2 and my tv support it on dlna stream. so...
all i just want is get best of best delivery from transcoding.

The different codecs only reduce the size at the cost of more cpu to transcode. Nothing to do with quality. You can only transcode to MPEG2 or x264. See transcoding documentation.
