Hi,

I've seen 2 topics talking about AAC to AC3 but none of them had a solution that worked.

I have a few MP4 with AAC 5.1. Unfortunatly, my Marantz receiver doesn't understand AAC.

AC3 and DTS works but just not AAC.

Anyway to change the profile of the BDP-S570 to send the signal as AC3 instead of AAC?

I did what was mentionned in viewtopic.php?f=7&t=17648 but that never worked.

So right now I'm stucked using MP42MKVac3 for every single MP4 AAC I download. Not useful. A solution but not the best. And since the S570 just can't seem to be able to fast forward an MKV properly I go the extra step of converting to M2TS on top of that. So I'm trying to save a few steps here before watching a movie LOL.

Can anyone help me?

Have a look at the example profile modification I put at the end of the Readme for BDP Players:

I use it to convert multichannel audio to AC3 for my surround gaming headset.
