PLEASE HELP with simple transcoding !

I posted a couple of topics about transcoding a month ago but have had no replies.

I have an audio device which does not play 24/192 FLAC properly (it should) but 24/96 and 24/88 are perfectly OK.

I want to create a new profile for the device to transcode FLAC audio that is "higher than 24/96" down to 24/96.
I want to leave 16 bit etc. unchanged.
My attempts failed miserably.

Help would be appreciated.

While I can't help in this specific area, it might be helpful if you provide what you've already tried. It could save to time by not duplicating what you already tested. :D

Currently not possible. For audio transcoding you only have the ability to match on container type (eg. as you have done for "flac").

There is no ability to discriminate further eg <Matches container="flac" abitDepth = "24/192" />. Perhaps raise it as a feature request.
