Serviio is a great tool and delivers most of my movies to my panasonic P42G20.
Even this one : lawrence of arabia / matroska x264 codec. Looks Perfect!
But not this one: once upon a time in the west matroska file x264 codec. It stutters! The sound is OK.

In debug mode i can see that both files are transcoded and rendered with the same parameters: -y -vcodec copy -vbsf h264_mp4toannexb -copyts -acodec copy -map 0:0 -map 0:1 -sn -f

When i compare the files futher i see differences in

Once upon: Writing library : x264 core 67 r1145M d2e1e1c
Lawrence: Writing library : x264 core 54 svn-635M

Once upon: Bit rate : 5 320 Kbps
Lawrence: Bit rate : 5 036 Kbps

Once upon: Frame rate : 23.976 fps
Lawrence: Frame rate : 25.000 fps

Any suggestions how to get this right in the transcoding definition? I use the 5.2 version with the panasonic profile.
More details in the attachments.

thx, Flang

Cerberus, what does this mean? What is a recording library in this case? The file "once upon" plays fine with WMP and classic MP on the PC.
Also: does this mean that the differences between the files I mentioned are not relevant? My logic goes like: IF one file plays, AND the other does not. they are much alike, but there are subtle differences, in one of those differences must be a hidden showstopper.

No, i have the same issue for my panasonic P50G20(Europe version).

Shuttering and elongation of screen, faces are 20% taller than normal ratio. Im total noob at transcoding and programming but i hope very much you will solve it!
