FLAC files, LPCM transcoding, Limitations of free version

Hello: I'm using a server called Mezzmo right now because Serviio only streamed two songs from an album I bought from HDtracks in FLAC format, then stopped streaming. Is there a limitation in the free version of Serviio that would cause that? Also, Mezzmo converts FLAC files (transcodes, whatever) to LPCM when streamed to my Blu-ray player, while Serviio kept the two songs it streamed as FLAC files. Mezzmo streams everything in the checked folders every time, but I'm concerned about possible loss in resolution. Does transcoding to LPCM affect the lossless quality of FLAC files? Right now I'm happy with the trial version of Mezzmo, but I will have to pay for it soon and may be better off with the paid version of Serviio. Thanks!
