Hi,

I have several hundred DVDs I've ripped to ISO format. Is there a way to mount the ISO for Transcoding for use with Serviio?

i don't know if this can help, but..

you can use "virtual clone cd" + "udf reader" (the udf reader for blu-ray iso's, for dvd it's not necesary)to mount .iso as a normal disk (k:/ i.e) and acces normally or add as local disk on serviio.

i'm using this under windows xp.

thanks. However this software is only Windows.
I have now 2 .iso, and, when mounted with Gmount-iso (a linux programm) one is seen by serviio, the other not....I try to further investigate

PS3 Media Server does .ISO transcoding to DLNA renderers just fine. It's written in Java and Open Source, so it might be a good place to look for a sample implementation. Also, Mencoder supports BluRay playback via libbluray

Hope this helps.

Soldurio, you wetting my appetite...please tell me more...how I do I see the content of a DVD ISO in Serviio: as a straight movie? as a full blown DVD with menus?
