Moxi profile

Anyone have a profile for the Moxi DVR? I'm probably transcoding a lot of things that I don't need to but it's easier than identifying all the things that don't work.
Thanks.

We could help you to create your specific profile. First see my signatures links. And post here the result.

I'm not sure why "Device Spy" can't see the Moxi. This is consistent with the logs errors from Serviio. Probably something funky with my router. However, I did get the Certificates for the Moxi and Moxi-Mate and attached them here.

0) What is your device model Moxi DVR or Moxi Mate ?
1) For "device autodetection", we need some "device header" information, for that enable
detailed logging file and post here result (just after serviio starting).
2)You could start with "Generic Profile" and verify list native formats supported, for example format listed on the dlna certificat:
JPEG
MP3
MPEG_PS_NTSC
MPEG_TS_SD_*
MPEG_TS_HD_NA*
WMVHIGH
WMVMED
Then with unsupported file, provide "ffmpeg -i" result to create specific profile transcoding section.

I have one of each. The Moxi Mate is a disk-less version of the Moxi DVR I use on a second display. The autodetection seems to be having issues with all of my devices. They always show up as "Unrecognized device". I've got a couple of Mac OS/X computers as well as the Moxi devices. The logs show:
2011-05-23 15:00:28,945 WARN [RendererManager] Error while retrieving renderer description: Cannot retrieve device description from
http://10.101.1.142:80/XD/DeviceDescription.xmlI can retrieve this file using wget as described in another thread talking about the Moxi, so I'm not sure why serviio can't. At least serviio sees the devices while the uPnP Device explorer can't.
That said, I'm running serviio on an OpenIndiana server. I remember reading something about uPnP issues on an earlier version of OpenSolaris so I'm going to open a discussion with their developers as well.

I've attached the log, but I don't think it will help much. It just says it can't get the description file, but I can get it using wget.
BTW, this is an OpenIndiana machine, if that might help.

I too have a semi rare moxi, and would love any info you have discovered regarding it and serviio. I currently have it set up and playing most things very well. I'd love some rare nuggets of info, and am currently trying to get the online transcoding working before my 15 day trial ends.
online transcoding of an mpg and or mov is showing this in the logs

Moxi device could not be discovered by serviio, because it cannot retrieve device description DeviceDescription.xml
