Serviio

Hi Friends!

Serviio is a great soft, and my prefered dlna server about 2 months. But now i´m having some problem to transcoding one MKV movie.

My TV is a Samsung U46C5000 and i using the default profile.xml to transcoding.

Do you try (for testing) to remux this mkv into a m2ts file with TsMuxer tool?
Check with mkvinfo if "header compression'" is not used in this mkv (not supported by the TV).

This file should play without transcoding, if it does not it's not encoded properly for the TV. You could setup transcoding for files like these but it'd be transcoding all files that would normally play natively

I will try to remux this mkv to test, and disable transcoding too.

I´m not home now, but tonight i reply the results of this tips.

I tried to play without transcoding, but not worked.

When i try to use tsMuxer to convert to m2ts, it gave me a error about invalid H264 NAL size.

It´s working now!

I got the MkvMerge and mark the option "Disable header removal compression for audio and video tracks by default" like Illico said.

Hi! When I try to stream mkv files, I still get "videocdec not supported". I'm a newbie at this, perhaps I can try your profiles.xml?
