Hello I've got a Samsung Series 6 (C) LCD TV.
I've just got installed Serviio in preference to the Samsung PC Share software.
I'm just wondering if anyone out there has a working Transcoding profile that they would like to share.
Edit: I tried the Samsung Wiselink Pro profile, and the automatic profile, and some type of files work on one profile and not the other (and vice-versa). Also some files work via the Samsung software and not with the two serviio profiles I have tried (Specifically the AVI files produced with my canon camera - vlc shows video codec MJPG, Audio Codec: araw).
I'll continue to experiment, and will post my results here.

What 6 series it is exactly? If you select Samsung WiselinkPro profile you should be ok.

The model number is:
LA40C650 - The user manual for this model is:
http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/201003/20100315155442031/BN68-02730A-00Eng_0224.pdfI'll try the WiseLink pro now, and report back. Great software, and awesome support!

Using the Samsung Wiselink Pro - I'm getting some 'codec' not support messages for files that play under the generic profile.
wmv files with
* Video Codec WMV3 - audio WMAP
* Video Codec WMV3 - audio WMA2
These two files just happen to be some old home videos that were the first two files that I tried with the new profile.
It seems like the other file types I have all play fine.
So my next question is:
Should I just re-encode these two old videos to a more recent format, or is there an easy tweak I can make to the Samsung Wiselink Pro config, to let it play the file like the generic profile does?

Can you provide ffmpeg -i <yourfile> output for those files?

Thanks again!
Both these file types work with the latest release.
