Dlink dsm-510

I have Serviio showing up on my tv as a server. I use a Dlink DSM-510 media hub. I would appreciate suggestions on how to edit a profile to get the hub to recognize the listed files (they are grayed out). I am talking about all files: video, audio, etc.

My understanding is limited (sorry). I opened the profile file, saw the generic device profile...and from there, not sure. I would really like to use Serviio and get away from Tversity. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Have you tried any of the current profiles?

Here I show my ignorance. Where are profiles? I did open the profile automatically installed by the software and saw the generic segment in the first position and I set my option to detect that. If there is an existing catalog of profiles on the forum, could you please point me to it? Thanks in advance for any help.

In the console, on Status tab, select a profile and clisk Save. Try playing a file, select another profile, etc.

I have only tried Generic DLNA. I had the notion that somewhere owners of certain devices had created changes to the profile file on the drive during installation of the software...and that one might match mine. I am taking a quantam leap that then maybe the new profile's changes for adding a new device, such as a Wii, would then be available in the software's pulldown console menu when Serviio was relaunched.

Am I missing it all and coming up with 2+2=5?

Yeah, the new profiles created by the users will be released in the new versions. But some features of those might work on your device. Once we find out what files you can play with particular existing profiles (if any) it will then be easy to just assemble one for your device.
