Audio Transcoding for Samsung Android with Allshare

Hello

I've created a dedicated profile for my Samsung Galaxy Tablet 10.1 used with the stock Allshare software.

My music collection is 99% in Flac format but when playing such a file with Allshare I received a message "Unsupported file format". Allshare seems not supporting FLAC even if this codec is supported by the Android native music player.
So I tried to transcode in MP3 for this device
  Code:
<Audio targetContainer="mp3" aBitrate="320" aSamplerate="44100">
        <Matches container="flac" />
</Audio>

Now when playing a Flac file with this profile:
- I also received the message "Unsupported file format"
- When using file properties in Alshare the format is "audio/mpeg" (the same than when playing, correctly, a MP3 native file)

I also tried to transcode in LPCM and I have always the same message but the file format is "*/*". I cannot compare this format with a native WAV format because LPCM seems to be not supported by Serviio (files not seen in the library)

Thanks in advance for your help

why not just use skifta and rock player rather than the allshare program?

I've tried Skifta: it's OK for videos and images (as Allshare is) but it doesn't read FLAC files.

As my music collection is mainly used for my Squeezeboxes, I've installed SqueezePlayer and Logitech apps on my tablet. Browsing is much more efficient and quick than with Serviio (my collection has 35,000 tracks) and I can play all audio formats.

Thanks for your help

dont forget with andorid you must install an interface (Skifta) AND a player to get full affect as built in player is rubbish.

so in your case Skifta and Rockplayer. :)

I didn't forget it and, for video, Skifta allows to choice your player (Rockplayer for example).
But for audio it doesn't give you the opportunity to choose and use an embedded player?
On the other hand Rockplayer is not playing audio: only video
