Hi,

What settings would I need in order to have serviio transcode dts to ac3 5.1? Specifically dvd vob files. I tried a setting but screwed up my profile xml and serviio wouldnt load.

you have to match for aCodec dca and transcode to targetACodec ac3.

I am not usually one to be spoonfed but where is a safe place to enter this line in the ps3 profile?

it depends on what file type it is. You have to run ffmpeg -i on the file(s) and then work out the source/target container you want to transcode from/to.
