It's not even showing an error code from ffmpeg which suggests ffmpeg isn't being called at all. Try setting ffmpeg.location to explicitly point to ffmpeg, otherwise point it at a script that simply writes to a file to check that it is being called.


Yep thanks, I should have thought before I replied, added the path in to the serviio.sh, trying again now

Once I had added the -Dffmpeg.location in the serviio.sh it worked straight away, just writing the wiki article for the whole process.

Thanks, remove ffmpeg from the prerequisites you don't use the one from yum.

the first yum command removes ffmpeg and x264 so you can build them later

Hi,
I found that installing faac, faac-devel, lame, lame-devel helped when configuring ffmpeg. So:

yum install faac faac-devel lame lame-devel
