Hi,

I have an archive of DV files from my Sony Camcorder captured by Windows Live Movie Maker.
These files play nicely on computer but result in 'Not Supported Video Codec" on my Samsung D6420 TV

ffmpeg info:

I found a similar post here (http://forum.serviio.org/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=6309&p=52470&hilit=dvvideo#p52470) but in my case files don't play at all
Could you please advice what can be wrong?
I'm using v.1.0.1 with original 'profiles.xml'

Thank you in advance,
Val

avi/dvvideo should be transcoded with "Samsung TV / player (C/D/E-series)" profile.
Could you enable detailed logging (see signature) and check if this file is transcoded and post log here ?

I have enabled extensive logging with 'DEBUG' threshold but ran into another problem.
After enabling it I stopped the service and deleted the serviio.log file just for convenience to see everything from scratch. But surprisingly after a service startup the logfile was not created!!!. I have tried restarting the service several times but no luck... The 'derby.log' is there, but no 'serviio.log' file. The service is running smoothly... Where did it go to and how to re-enable it again? I have tried changing the logging level back to INFO which didn't make any difference.

Yes, I have tried rebooting the server, still no serviio.log
