Ideal transcoding/remuxing for Swedish SVT Play and direct?
Posted: Sat Feb 09, 2013 10:21 amWhat would be the ideal way to transcode the streams coming from SVTPlay and SVT direct online TV (all in Sweden, of course) to be perfect for respectively the WD TV Live HD and Sony BDP-S370 Bluray player's online DLNA capability?
Both devices have the latest FW from the mfg, i e no hacked FW or anything.
I just can't seem to get it right, and need advice!
Things work perfectly thru my serviio to my DLNA rendering android phones..

I tried using the online SVT direct channels and SVTPlay shows from my android phone+PlugPlayer DLNA control+MXPlayer, and all is absolutely PURRFECT.
So, I guess my problems with SVTPlay are likely to be remuxing and/or transcoding related.

I run ffmpeg 1.1.2, compiled to suit the 1.2 beta of serviio.
My (failing) renderers are one WD TV Live HD and a Sony BDP-S370, both on their latest respective standard mfg FW versions.
