Hi,
I have a movie in .MKV format that plays through Serviio on my Android phone, but when I try to play it (and many other video files) through our PS3, the PS3 gives a "data type not supported" error message on the screen.
I can see that Serviio recognizes the PS3 and is using the built in profile. Why would Serviio dish out something that the PS3 can't handle?

These files should be remuxed in mpegts and should keep video/audio track. Its probably due to a bad h264 encoding settings.

You can create a custom PS3 profile that will transcode these files... add this just before the last "</Profiles>" element in ../serviio/config/profiles.xml file

It's not the truth...
You can not select a profile for a particular movie, but you can select/change to another profile before start a movie that does not play with previous profile. So its not automatically, but manually.
