Samsung UE43J5500 + Serviio 1.6 = No content on TV

Hello,
My Serviio 1.6 server is installed on Zyxel NSA325 which means Linux :-)

I've installed Serviio succesfully. Other devices have no problem with this but TV does.

Maybe some permissions on linux? Please help. If you need something from me, please tell!

Error from logfile:

Re: Samsung UE43J5500 + Serviio 1.6 = No content on TV

I'm not familiar with NAS installations, so I was hesitant to reply. First, check the profile assigned to the TV in the Serviio console. version 1.6 includes a new J Series profile.

As far as the Java log entries, I have no knowledge about them. I've often seen what appears to be errors, but are actually normal entries.

Finally, exactly what is the problem? Does the TV not see Serviio at all? Are no videos listed? Are they listed but won't play?

The snippet of the log file you provided really tells us nothing. We need to see a complete log, preferably with debug enabled.

It looks like the TV uses UPnP protocol higher than 1.0 (never seen that).

Normally J series works, not sure why this one doesn't.

TV see Serviio in sources list but no videos/folder listed :-)

When I'll be at home I will enable debuging.

Usually when no videos are displayed in the various categories (Titles, Movies, Series, etc.), Serviio does not believe they are playable. Look in the folders view and see if anything is listed, as this view will usually show everything, playable of not. The debug log will be a great help.

Re: Samsung UE43J5500 + Serviio 1.6 = No content on TV

I don't know how but today it works :)

But there is another problem. Subtitles with polish diacritic signs like ą,ę,ź,ś,ć etc..
Subtitles works but shows only lines without this signs.

Maybe I have to set something special in my Serviio?

PS. If I buy PRO version there is some other support line like mail or online chat?

Do you use burned-in subtitles or embedded ones? If yes, either convert the subtitles (if external) to UTF-8 or set the file's character encoding in the console.

No, only the forum.
