Serviio still alive?

Just curious what to expect. New here, posted a feature request a week ago and now I look around a bit more and don't see much activity. Seems there is nothing new since 1.8 was released.

Re: Serviio still alive?

:-( and for next one will it be added? I see it was asked a while ago and it is still not in 1.9 so I wonder. Is there a new version every 6 months or so? Because as soon as you start beta testing 1.9.x or 2.0.x I can test MPO for you.

Re: Serviio still alive?

Still waiting for an answer. I can even alpha test if needed. BTW glad you are working with QNAP because it's the brand I have. Hope all this will be good.

Nice that https://bitbucket.org/xnejp03/serviio/i ... -3d-images priority is set to major! That's some good news, unless it is set to major for the last 2 years? :?

Can't wait...

Oh and the suggestion here, is it added to that list by you or I need to sign up there and post it?

Thanks!

Re: Serviio still alive?

Still waiting for an answer to my question about the suggestion in my last post.

Also I can tell you that issue #616 is not resolved. New NAS trying Serviio and the first MKV I DLNAed to my Panasonic TV GT50 (2012) had that ratio problem too, until I read to use the Generic Profile. Since there is a specific profile for my TV I was expecting it to be perfect in the sense that it should knows all the parameters of my TV so I guess there is still something wrong in it.

The MKV was DTS and while it began playing fine there was a problem with the sond every few minutes and after searching on the subjet I found out TV does not support DTS so I ended up converting the file on the PC first. I had hope it would be transcoded on the fly without problem.

Like I previsously said I was quite happy to find out you work with QNAP, also that Serviio presentation is nice and that you seem open to add .MPO support but I have no clue if it will happen and when. I'm out of luck with 1.9 yet to be in beta so I know I need to wait for next version for that but have no idea when it could happen. Is there usually a single update a year or it's twice a year or? I read the 1.8 annoucement but there is no date in your news so no clue when it happened. I could have tried to extrapolate from that.

Thanks for reading.

1.9 is in testing. I'd expect 1.10 sometime in autumn

Cool! But what about my other subjects? My suggestion and Bug #616?

When you will start working on 1.10 and if it's the good one for .MPO support, are you interested that I test for you? Being a french speaker I can also have a look at translation if you need.

Thanks!

Re: Serviio still alive?

1.9 should be out soon now. Will see how quickly I get to work on 1.10 over the summer.
