No audio or picture show (Video works)

Using Serviio to serve video has always worked without flaws.

However, I cant get my Samsung BD-C6900 to read music or pictures served from my Serviio-0.5.2. I have not tried extensivelly before, but I dont think it has ever worked before either...)

The music and video are in the same directory tree as the video files.
I have checked all the boxes in the console.
The log shows that the music and pictures are indexed.

When I start the Blueray to browse my FreeNAS Serviio on my TV I see a top level of three folders: Audio, Image and Video.
The video contains all the folder as expected, most video plays ok.

The Audio and Image contains a bunch of subfolders including the names of the folders I have on disk on the FreeNAS but no of the actual files are listed (Neither mp3 nor jpg files)

Any ideas?

Re: No audio or picture show (Video works)

Make sure you select Audio/Images in the player's menu - depending what you want to watch - because it filters out any files that are not of that type and Serviio serves.

the way you have setup your console isnt great you have 3 folder with all boxes ticked you should have it like this..

PICTURES --- only select the tick box for picture not other 2 ( camera icon )
AUDIO --- only select the tick box for audio not other 2 ( music note icon )
MOVIES --- only select the tick box for movies not other 2 ( film strip icon )

the last two icons on the console.

M icon - only select for music and video
Refresh icon - select for all folders.

and as ZIP has said make sure you select teh correct catagory from the samsung menu for the type of files yo want to open and that you have the correct profile set for your device set it the consoel too. :)
