A couple of files with issues on D6000

First of all thanks for the great software. I've only been using it for a week but I've already found it very useful and I hope that the donation I made helps with its continuing development.

With that out of the way, I've got a couple of files that I've found are causing problems for the TV. The TV's a UA46D6000, transcoding is enabled and I'm using the Samsung C/D Profile with a bitrate limit of 20Mb/s since it's currently on wireless. I put the logging in debug mode and restarted the server as per the instructions, but neither of the files get mentioned by name in the Serviio logfile. I will post this separately if necessary since it exceeds the character limit here.

The first file causes the TV to reboot, after which it displays the source it last booted to. Ffmpeg reports the following:

  Code:
Seems stream 1 codec frame rate differs from container frame rate: 1000.00 (1000
/1) -> 29.97 (30000/1001)

The second fails to load on the TV, which after some time showing a black screen eventually gives an "unsupported video data" error and moves on to the next file. Ffmpeg reports the following:

Re: A couple of files with issues on D6000

The first video should transcode the wmapro audio track and keep it n asf container. You could check the log to see if FFmpeg crashes.
The second file, looks normal, but obviously the TV doesn't like something about it - you might setup transcoding for it but then all your DivX AVI's would be transcoded, which is not ideal.

Re: A couple of files with issues on D6000

Thanks for your reply.

I should have checked this before; the WMV works just fine over USB.

The only references to FFMPEG in the log file are:

  Code:
2011-05-28 13:02:08,421 DEBUG [FFMPEGWrapper] Invoking FFMPEG to check if it exists of path C:\Program Files\Serviio\bin\\..\lib/ffmpeg.exe
2011-05-28 13:02:08,421 DEBUG [ProcessExecutor] Starting C:\Program Files\Serviio\bin\\..\lib/ffmpeg.exe

Is there anything else I should be looking for?

The DivX4 AVI worked on a friend's Samsung TV but doesn't work on mine over USB, so that's that I guess. Remuxing it to AVI or even MKV didn't seem to help, and DivFix didn't think much of it either. I don't have many high bitrate MPEG4 AVIs so it's not a huge problem to transcode them, but I notice that when transcoded these files no longer support seeking on the Samsung TV, is this a limitation of the transcoding or something else along the line?

Also I don't know how I managed not to find them the first time but my earlier statement "neither of the files get mentioned by name in the Serviio logfile" is wrong. They're both in there, it shows the AVI being sent to the TV but for some reason doesn't do the same for the WMV.

Cheers.

Is there anything else I can check that might shed more light on the WMV issue here?
