A ton more information on your setup and devices is required before we can even attempt to help you.

Re: files

I seem to have this issue too.

Running Serviio on FreeNAS ( free bsd UNIX ).
Sony Bravia TV.

Using handbrake to rip the movies. Would a different tool work better? Suggestions?

What other info is needed?

I do see actor, director and producer info in the Serviio menu on the TV so part of it works.

Re: files

Trying to find out why I can't see Movie titles. I do see actors, genre, etc.

Serviio is running from FreeNAS ( free BSD UNIX )
Serviio Console is running on a Win XP box - this will be turned off most of the time, hope that is ok.
TV is a Sony Bravia

After running the ffmpeg exe I see this:

The last line is most likely part of my problem - how do I fix it?

dc5700:~# /usr/local/bin/ffmpeg ffmpeg -i /mnt/ZFS_Pool/Movies

any help is most welcome! Thanks!!

Re: files

First your FFmpeg is quite old.
Second, you're pointing to a folder (after the -i parameter), not a file
