Please read the Serviio documentation and this thread for the information on how to setup quality.

Re: YouTube

Hey guys,

i have just integrated some youtube channels into serviio.

When testing the videos, i noticed that the sound is very wierd...
sounds like the frequencys or the sample rates are wrong.

can someone agree to this problem? does anyone experience the same?

how can i resolve this?

already played with quality settings but nothing helped.

Re: YouTube

Never had any YT problems. How did you "integrate" them? Did you use the links as described in the Wiki entry "How to Get YouTube Videos to Play in Serviio" ? http://wiki.serviio.org/doku.php?id=you_tube_videos

Post the "one channel live " that you are trying to "watch on Serviio" and I will test it.

Re: YouTube

First, you have not read the documentation on how to get yt videos in Serviio.

Secondly, you have not read this thread to see that another user made the same error, and see the solution. When you do, you will also see that there is a problem with Serviio playing that yt stream.

see http://forum.serviio.org/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=3276&start=110#p35504

First, if I read the documentation as I said before, because, secondly, I am the user with that problem, not someone else, am I the same, and the last message I just wanted to put that might please indicate the problem is not serviio if not the channel, as with the application of my tv samsung YT, not me playing.

Thanks for the help.

I guess the problem was due to language

Re: YouTube

OK, I think I understand...you are confirming that it also does not work for you when you use the correct "gdata" link.

Re: YouTube

I've added this RSS feed
http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/user ... ll/uploads

But why can I play this video (highest quality 720p)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JqbgOK52 ... uKJz_2ud68

and I can't play this video (highest quality 1080p)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMmRBNDA ... rQeYgTsV2A

In the log file I've found this
  Code:
2012-02-06 18:51:32,400 WARN  [ProcessExecutor] Process ffmpeg has a return code of 137! This is a possible error.
2012-02-06 18:52:16,936 INFO  [LibraryUpdatesCheckerThread] Finished looking for updates to currently shared files
2012-02-06 18:52:37,721 WARN  [ProcessExecutor] Process ffmpeg has a return code of 137! This is a possible error.

Thanks in advice

Re: YouTube

Nice catch. I've analysed this and the problem seems to be that video has a format 46 available which the groovy does not recognize. I'm testing the fix now and I will report it to zip to post a working groovy.

Beats me, with my revised groovy I get all 25 clips in the folder with icons and they all play fine.
