QPKG Serviio 1.2 for QNAP

Is there a QPKG Serviio 1.2 for NAS QNAP clients?!... Or any other way to install this new version?!

Not yet, and yes...

If you want to bodge it you can get the linux version and bang it over the top manually.

Getting ffmpeg compiled is a little more tricky, I got it compiled with libass, but subtitles aren't working even though there are no errors.

Use servidroid to configure it...

-EDIT-

School boy error, I didn't have any fonts installed on my QNAP, copied ARIAL.TTF to font directory and works a treat now. Better than the native support on my Viera...

Hi Keifos,

I'm trying to do the same, which folder are you meant to save the ARIAL.TTF font file too?

Re: QPKG Serviio 1.2 for QNAP

Christian released a new package with Serviio 1.2.1 and newly compiled FFMPEG. Webstreaming works in this release, no further errors found to date.

Re: QPKG Serviio 1.2 for QNAP

There is scripts you can run here - https://gist.github.com/tommeier/5324815
This will update your current Serviio and will also install a fresh compiled ffmpeg which is custom to your QNAP

Not as easy as installing a QPKG but works very well and don't need to wait for others to release a package.

There individual scripts for updating serviio, updating ffmpeg, updating webui and plugins.
Sony Bravia 2010 52NX803 - Sony PS3 - Xbox 360
Serviio running on QNAP NAS 639 Pro - 1.6 Intel Dual Core - 2GB RAM and QNAP NAS 121 - 2Ghz ARM Marvell - 1GB RAM
Console using ServiiDroid for Android, ServiiMetro and ServiiWP for Windows Phone and WebUI for iOS

Hi.

Can someone provide me a help to update the serviio that is installed in my qnap using the scripts? I don't know how to use the scripts to update to version 1.2.1.

Thanks
