Not working after Win7 re-install

I've been using Serviio flawlessly for 2 yrs with my Win 7 64bit PC and Samsung TV - best media server I've ever used.
I had to re-install Win 7 on a new SDD, but no other h'ware changes. After installing Serviio the Samsung cannot see it, although it can see the Windows media server on the same PC.

Other items of note:
Serviio can see the Samsung and correctly id's it as model UN46D6420 with Samsung C/D/E profile.
Serviio seems to correctly bind my network card.
Serviio Service is running, although puplisher is "unknown" via ctrl-alt-del>processes.
I have tried manually opening ports 8895TCP and 1900UDP, although serviio had already created good rules in Windows firewall.
Tried uninstalling and re-installing Serviio as both Std User and Admin User, no difference.
The only slight difference in behavior: Serviio on my old install of Win7 used to place the console icon in the system tray on startup, now it doesn't and I have to open the console from Start>Programs.
Not sure what else I can try but log attached.

Many thanks if you can help!

Re: Not working after Win7 re-install

OK, 1 more observation. Manually stopping and re-starting the Service (with admin authority of course) fixes everything and the Samsung recognizes the server.

So even though Windows thinks the service is running it apparently isn't getting a clean start on boot.

Re: Not working after Win7 re-install

What is your IP and what IP did you bind to?

I can see these: 169.254.31.5 and 192.168.1.68

Does your network card have 2 IP addresses?

Return to Samsung
