samsung UE32EH5300

HI all,

new to this, and after numerous searches on this forum and a few hours of internet digging, i can't find a solution to my problem.

i fired up latest version of serviio, on macbook pro, 10.9.5. this is connected wirelessly to my brand new talk talk fibre router. i have connected the router to a power line adapter which is plugged in and turned on, my samsung tv is connected through the other power line adapter, all network setting are fine through the tv, smart functions like iPlayer 4OD etc work fine.

when i ran the all share app on the samsung tv, it picked up serviio and started to play a file from my iPhone (.mov) after about 20 seconds of constant buffering it exited out of all share.

once i ran all share again, serviio has vanished from the selection menu.

on the servo console screen, everything is showing an orange status, ( i also have tried with my other tv lg ld490, thats keeps buffering every few seconds)

I've tried connecting my macbook through the router with the ethernet cable, so everything is wired, but still having the same problem.

iv deselcted transcoding through servo and, enabled upnp, and ipv6 on the router. nothing seems to be changing the buffering on the lg, and still can't find servo on the samsung!!!

any ideas to help a newbie to this??

thanks!!!

Serviio does not yet ship with a Samsung H series profile. You have likely defaulted to the generic profile, which isn't optimum. Karnith has built an H profile, and I am using it with fairly good success. My only issue is WTV files, but since you're using a Mac, you likely don't have any of those

This link takes you to his H profile. Paste it into the profiles.xml file (there's help here if you are unsure how to do that).
