Samsung UN40EH5300 Forward/Rewind not working

Hi,

I would like to thank you for this great application. It saved me from the bad designed Samsung AllShare App.

I am using Serviio version 1.01 with mac 10.7 (Lion). Everything is working great. I am using the profile "Samsung TV / Player C/D/E series"

There is a problem in Fast Forwarding/Rewinding of all video types (AVI, mpg, wmv). Could you please help me in solving this issue?

Also, the subtitle (.srt) is displayed on the TV screen but I need to change the encoding. How can I do that?

for subtitles, change the encoding to utf-8 in the file itself, using a text editor.

I'm a newbie with this myself. But have you tried using the left and right single arrows for FF & rewind? I find that these work but no the normal FF & rewind buttons at the buttom of the remote. While it only jumps 20 seconds or so, there is another post that states that if you hold the button down, the size of the movement increases. I have two Samsungs ( ES6500 & EH5300) and it works for me.
