UA40D6000 - Pictures (Jpeg) Work Inconsistently

I've been running Serviio on my PC for about 18 months and it is one of the best media servers I have ever used.

One issue that has persisted into Serviio 1.1 is in regards to inconsistent results when browsing High res .jpeg image files

I have a library containing images in size up to 8 and 16 MP (around 4900x3200) and whilst browsing the pictures in slideshow works 80% of the time, every few images an "Image type not supported" (or words to that effect) error is generated and the slideshow skips to the next image.

I find it unusual that it would do this every so often with images identical in specification to one another, seemingly at random.

Is there any known solution to this problem?

Let me know if there is a more appropriate sub-forum to direct this thread to.

I've made some changes on how transcoded images are served for 1.2, hopefully it'll fix your problem.

Thanks.

BTW I find it quite impressive that 3D Panoramas are preserved in 3D format and view correctly through serviio on compatible devices.

I have just been browsing through my photos and the problem seems to have been fixed in the new release (1.2).

I'll let you know if I encounter any more problems, but so far, so good.
