Samsung C/D/E profile vs. Samsung BD-ES6000 (MKV playback)

Hi everyone,
Serviio is a great piece of software (kudos to the creator), but I noticed that the "Samsung C/D/E" does not fit the BD-ES6000 player in case of all MKV file I've got. I don't know if the “ES” in the model name means it is inferior to other E-series Bluray players, but in case of MKV files with h264-AVC and AC3 the file seems to be sent without transcoding/remuxing and the player claims that “format is not supported”. At the same time when I change the profile to “Sharp Aquos” (where MKV container seems to be remuxed to mpeg2ts) the same MKV files play with not issue. This would confirm it is an issue with the MKV container.

Anybody had any success with playing native MKV on this device? Or are there any problematic switches in MKV setup I should look for?
Thanks in advance for your input!

You should post the "MediaInfo" results for one of those files. Page 10 of your manual says they should play natively. ( Dolby Digital, DD+)

I will post this evening, I was also following the manual when buying, but I saw people in other forums complaining that this model does not play MKV, only remuxed to mpeg2ts.

Also try playing the files directly from a usb device.

2. At first one of these 3 files played on the device if set to the "Samsung C/D/E" profile, but played fine with the "Sharp Aquos" transcoding profile. Now when I switched back to the Samsung profile all of them play fine O_O. they also play fine from USB. I don't understand what happened. The only change I did apart from changing the profile was to disable online metadata fetching.

Sorry if this was a false alarm.
EDIT: One thing that still bugs me is that for the same files the player reports unsupported format when I try to play them from a Logitech Media Server (LMS) from the same machine. I know this is probably a question to LOgitech, but AFAIK LMS does not transcode, so the files should play. Nevermind.
