Sony Bravia KDL 40WE5 does not play well MKV files

Hi everybody!

My Bravia KDL 40WE5 does not play video, only audio, of any MKV file. Other files, like AVI, work fine.
I use Bravia 2009 profile.

Do you have any suggestion?

Probably something with AVC/h264 codec that our TV does not support (the video is streamed in native format).
Could you provide information about your media files ? see signature links

every mkv that I attempt to playback has the same video issue, I don't think it's a matter of a specific file.

Try a different Sony profile than 2009
