[SOLVED] Sony BDV-E370 disconnects when Serviio on wired

Hi all,
Following is my setup:
Serviio server on Windows 7 PC (32-bit) - Wireless
Sony BDV-E370 Home Theater System - Wired (don't have wireless adapter)

With above setup, Sony can play things off Serviio server plus its own presets such as pandora, slacker etc.

Now, to improve stability of connection I switch PC from wireless to wired connection, all works as above until i restart the Sony device.
Sony can still see Serviio server and play online stuff streamed from Serviio, but it cannot access internet and cannot play any of the presets. It says connection error and Sony's internet status confirms that connection to internet failed.
I know this is not a direct Serviio issue, but changing Serviio server from wireless to wired connection is preventing internet access on my Sony device.

Note: My Serviio server is not bound to any IP as of now.
Note2: My Sony device has the option to provide custom IP, subnet etc. I have left it on auto now.

Does anyone know what to change so both Serviio and Sony device can have wired connections?

I suggest to fix all IP address on devices or fix IP/Mac address on router settings.

I was going to try this but wanted to hear suggestions first.
When i get home in few hours, I'll try binding the IP on Serviio console and fix IP address on device and report back.
More suggestions welcome in the meantime.

OK, provided fixed IPs to both Serviio PC and device and all is as expected.
But sometimes I am getting this issue:

1) Started with listening to Pandora on device for few minutes.
2) Switched to Serviio server to watch online streaming content for few hours.
Fine until now.
3) Went back to listening to Pandora and now device complains "cannot connect to internet".

Tried everything, nothing worked. Powered device Off and On using remote, still no luck.

Finally unplugged power and plugged back on and the device immediate connects to internet and plays Pandora.
Bit confused
Will mark post as solved since it is working in general apart from one little idiosyncrasy.

Wanted to report back that after restarting both device and PC few times all is stable now.
Ofcourse the key was binding the IPs to respective machines. Now I have wired connections on both.
