Slide show pictures do not stay in order

I am trying to create a slide show, loading my pictures to a memory stick then showing on my E6 TV. I put the pictures in a folder, numbering them in numerical sequence but when I show them on the TV screen, they are all over the place Can anyone advise me how to overcome this problem please?
