Integration between Serviio and VLC
I am using Serviio 1.4 on my Windows 7 computer.
This works well with my local files on the P.C. including those on a conected USB drive.
These feeds are received well on a 1.2GZ netbook with MediaHouse and ServiiDroid as also on my LG TV but with some buffering on the latter.
My problem is that Serviio does not appear to integrate with VLC 2.1.3. Using the recommended View-Playlist- Universa PlugnPlay
does not work with one click and two clicks causes vlc to crash. No message is given. This is not a question of time delay.
I have port forwarded TCP 8895 and UDB 1900 but this does not help. The Windows firewall is Ok for both Serviio and vlc
My Virus checker does not block either of these.
My browser Chrome and VLC work well with on-line feeds so the problem is something to do with the intergration.
I would be grateful for any help - I am in my eighties but can usually solve most PC problems.

MY SERVIIO DEBUG FILE IS AS FOLLOWS:
<log4j:configuration debug="false" xmlns:log4j="http://jakarta.apache.org/log4j/"><appender class="org.apache.log4j.RollingFileAppender" name="FILE"><param name="Threshold" value="DEBUG"/><param name="Append" value="true"/><param name="File" value="${serviio.home}/log/serviio.log"/><param name="MaxFileSize" value="500KB"/><param name="MaxBackupIndex" value="5"/><param name="Encoding" value="UTF-8"/><layout class="org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout"><param name="ConversionPattern" value="%d{ISO8601} %-5p [%c{1}] %m%n"/></layout></appender><category name="org.serviio"><priority value="INFO"/></category><category name="com.sun.syndication"><priority value="ERROR"/></category><category name="org.jaudiotagger"><priority value="ERROR"/></category><category name="org.restlet"><priority value="ERROR"/></category><category name="org.apache.jcs"><priority value="WARN"/></category><root><priority value="INFO"/><appender-ref ref="FILE"/></root></log4j:configuration>
There are a number of errors here so this may be the reason but I have no idea what they mean
