AV Media Controller - can this be used to view the library?
I thought I had read somewhere on here that the intel tools "AV Media Controller" can be used to view what is in the serviio library. I cannot see serviio in the "AV Media Controller" tool at all.
I have some files that aren't showing up and can't seem to figure out why. These files are located in folders with files that do show up. Using cygwin, I ran the touch program to touch every file in my video library, then I refreshed the library while viewing the log. I see a few of the files being added per the log, but yet I do not see them on my TV via my BR player. I also read in serviio faq that if your file names have S##E## in the name, that serviio should show them in the "series" folder/icon, but mine doesn't. I'd like to also be able to view all my movies without hopping in/out of folders if I could. I have all my movies separated by folder's, i.e. 0_9, a, b, c, d...
As a side question, I use cygwin quite a bit to move files around, copy them to backup drives and to my library folders off my faster/conversion drive as I am fairly decent at shell scripts, but awful in dos. Would like to find out of ffmpeg can be used via cygwin as well so I can remux my avi's into mp4's. I've done some using dos, but I'm not nearly as adept at using dos batch files as I am using bash/ksh.
Any help would be appreciated.
