Re: serviio vs NAS - how to playing m3u playlists?

See http://forum.serviio.org/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=18030&p=97041&hilit=playlist#p97041 for general discussion about creating playlists.

The key will be that the m3u file has the proper path(s) to the media to be played otherwise you will have to edit the m3u file for the proper path(s) to the files on the NAS or whereever. The actual m3u does not have to be on the NAS but it must be in a location that is included in the library per the console.
