Can't say I've heard anything like that. Are all your files still listed, but they just won't play? What sort of players? What (if any) error messages do you see?
Have you checked to make sure the proper profile is selected for each player? How about the MediaPlayer, is it working?
A couple of people have had to uninstall and reinstall to clear some issues. Might try that as well.
