Updated and now Serviio won't run at all

I downloaded the latest version of Serviio, as the previous version was amazing. So updated and now problems have begun that it won't work. I have downloaded and installed on Win7 to allow my Xbox360 access to my computers files. However its not getting anywhere now. I have stripped out the entire registry of Serviio and reloaded. Still nothing

Is there anything I can do?

Can't see the image you posted, so don't quite know the problem. Are you saying the Serviio service won't start? If so, the log should provide a reason. Can you upload the log?

I can't get the right link to the image. In fact I never can with the links if I can't directly upload to a forum. And way here is the url link https://www.flickr.com/photos/jetprovostxs186/16202826894/
Maybe that will help. Where would the logs be as I have deleted everything?

Re: Updated and now Serviio won't run at all

You seem to be having a very similar problem as I am having, possibly with the Serviio service not running. I get the same error in your link "Cannot connect to Serviio server, it does not seem to be running, Exiting...".

If that happens again can you try this: open command prompt (start > type "cmd" > click cmd.exe) then type "net start serviio". It will start the serviio service if it was not running, also the same can also be done from the Services window. Then restart the serviio console and you should be back up and running. These are the steps I used to get my setup running again, but my serviio service doesn't want to stay running. :(

I restarted, after stripping down the registry. Loaded up again and its working. Strange but there you are.

That image is from Serviio Console starting and not finding the service running. Why it wasn't running? Good question, but since you've got it working now it's no longer an issue for you.

For anyone else that is having issues with the Serviio service not loading, look in the log for any startup errors and let us know. Might help to post the log here. Delete the existing log so you start with a small log file and a fresh startup.
